Less than 10% of Russian congregations have their own church buildings.
Most rely on rented facilities, often rented from local governmental agencies.
Many congregations have lost their places of worship due to political,
religious, or spiritual oppression.
Some congregations have been forced to meet in public parks under the open skies
in the dead of winter, enduring the numbing cold.
And sometimes the congregations are expelled from their rented halls with little or no notice.
We've been a part of providing permanent houses of worship for some congregations.
These worthwhile projects result in a permanent place of worship, education, and outreach for
a local congregation.
