About the Langs
The year was 1986, three years before the fall of the Berlin Wall and the same year Rick and Dianna responded to God's missionary call on their life. The Langs took their three children; Joel, Abby, and Becca and served their first four year missionary term in the USSR break away republic of Lithuania, then later, while living in Moscow, served as the Assemblies of God's country coordinators for Russia.
Rick and Dianna rejoice that God has taken them further into the interior of Russia.

The Field
In the northern wastelands of Russia's far-east, there are 18 known indigenous unreached people groups with their own languages and cultures. They survive against all odds of extreme climate and indifference from within Russia. These traditional territories make up an area larger than Europe.
In the Far East of Russia, there are 13 distinct regions: Burytia, Yakutia, Magadan, Chita, Chukota, Amur, Koryakia, Khabarovsk, Kamchatka, Primorskiv, Vevrey, Sakhalin, and Petropavlovsk - Kamchatskiv.
Rick and Dianna are developing teams to build Church Based Resource Centers in each of these 13 regions. In order to bring the message of Jesus Christ to those who haven’t heard.
Church Based Resource Centers
The four -fold mission of each Church Based Resource Center is:
- Evangelization: outreach program development and execution.
- Training: ongoing education for pastors and laymen, with specialized ministry training, seminars, and conferences.
- Church Development: including sustainable church planting and guiding churches to become sending churches.
- Compassion: emphasizing caring and compassionate ministry to those in need.
